Design is not just what it looks like or feels like. Design is how it works – Steve Jobs

In today’s era when digital marketing is at its peak, if you are one of those marketers who still follows the old school marketing techniques in this era of internet, chances are that your marketing campaigns are not performing to it’s fullest potential. Gone is the era of TV and radio commercials when people had no choice but to be exposed to your campaigns. Today people have much more control over which ads they want to see or which ones they want to mark as spam.

So, to stay on top of the audience’s mind in this era, design is the spinach to every marketing Popeye out there. Design is what will help you to Get Attention, Hold Interest and Encourage Action from your audience.

Why should you read this guide?

Design Hack for Marketers will help marketers meet these goals with design, and help designers get a better understanding of their role in marketing.

When we talk about marketing, we can’t separate design from it. One fails without the other. In this book, we’ll talk about exactly how connected they are. You’ll be surprised to know how much.

About the author

After being a designer for the most part of his professional life, Rajat drifted to marketing unintentionally. As he created landing page after landing page, redesigned websites, tested ad creatives, built case studies, e-books and infographics to drive traffic and sales, he found himself at a loss for what to say when someone asked me what my role was at work. Soon, he found out that though his work was beautiful but it still didn’t appeal more to the audience. That’s when he learnt that people like to perceive things as beautiful as to how they are used to seeing it.
