Southeastern College was founded in 1988 as Cruise Career Training Institute in Florida and has gone through several name changes through the years. In 2007, the college’s owners acquired the Southeastern School of Neuromuscular and Massage Therapy, with locations in South Carolina and North Carolina, changing its name to Southeastern Institute in 2009. Southeastern Institute became Southeastern College in 2020. Today, the career-focused college offers diploma, certificate, associate, and bachelor’s degree programs in allied health and education at five campuses: Charleston, SC; Charlotte, NC; Columbia, SC; Miami Lakes, FL; and West Palm Beach, FL. Southeastern College is accredited by is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges.
After 36 years in existence, Southeastern College needed to integrate technology into its traditional marketing and enrollment processes. The admissions team’s enrollment and inquiry management methods relied on several disparate systems, making things cumbersome and time consuming. Without a customer relationship management (CRM) system in place, admissions coordinators could easily lose track of prospective student inquiries. The lack of automated processes contributed to below-average contact rates. With the college becoming a degree-granting institution across all campuses in 2022 and expanding its program portfolio from diplomas and certificates to associate and baccalaureate degrees as well, Southeastern sought to implement a robust CRM.
