AdmitKard, a venture capitalist-funded EdTech startup, was founded in 2016 by IIT-IIM Alumni (Piyush Bhartiya & Rachit Agrawal), aiming to mentor students in the college application process. Before LeadSquared, AdmitKard had their own in-house CRM. Maintaining and building that solution took a lot of their tech bandwidth and was not a scalable solution.
It took away from the company’s core business – serving students, who wanted to study abroad, better.
With their in-house CRM, it was difficult to capture leads across sources. There were lead leakages & drop from the funnel.
Despite taking a lot of tech bandwidth, the solution couldn’t keep up with the pace & growth of incoming leads & revenue opportunities.
